Kit is very nice and comes with everything you need for application. I applied before the car had been driven any meaningful distance. Gave the car an isopropyl alcohol solution wipe down where needed to ensure nothing was on the paint. Watch a YouTube video to make sure you know how to check for flashing and avoid high spots. If you have waxed a car before, this really isn’t any harder.

The results were very apparent. It was a bit cloudy for the before picture, but the results were still as dramatic as seen in the photo. Car still looks like it just got waxed. A little detailing spray and microfiber wipes away bugs from the front end with ease. I definitely prefer this ceramic coating to PPE or wax. I also applied to the glass to increase hydrophobic properties.

I was able to apply to the entire car in a couple hours and let it sit as long as I could without getting the car wet. I’d think there is enough remaining to do another coating if it starts to wear off (just make sure to use fresh microfiber). Definitely recommend this product and save some money and DIY.

I got a quote for $1400 to ceramic coat my 2020 Ram 1500 limited. You know the whole paint correction thing and they wanted to keep my vehicle for two days. In my case I didn’t need any correction so after doing a TON of research I decided to do it myself. After all I figured if I messed up I’ll just take it to the man and pay him to do it. Well I’m glad I did it. I followed the instructions and I’m very very happy with the results. Yes as other reviewers said, its VERY EASY to apply and remove. Did i say VERY EASY!!! Ok lets move on…I did my truck in my drive way, no garage or lab. Lol… I washed, clay bar and washed again. Then i used a 99% Alcohol and water mixture and wipe everything down and then applied the coating. The instructions don’t say to do all that I chose to do it though. Anyways I’m waiting for it to cure. The seller seems to be great as well. Oh yeah before I forget I have enough to do maybe the other two of my cars. Sooooooo pleased. Those towels that come in the kit are interesting to me ( I need to research what type of towels they really are) They work well and you only need the two that are supplied in the kit. I bought another bag of microfiber towels thinking I would need more, but I didn’t need them. I don’t know how long it will last but I rather do this process again then to do the polish and wax method which took me 12hrs last time. This took me 3 1/2 hours and that was with the extra stuff I chose to do with prepping and babying my truck.

I have never used a ceramic coat before. I was very cautious using this on my new Model Y. I watched a few videos and then applied it to the car. It’s been a month so far and I am thrilled with the results. you don’t need to be a pro to apply this. Follow the instructions carefully. Wear gloves and probably I would recommend a mask also. I still have some leftovers even after applying a full coat on Model Y. I hope the coating lasts for a few years as it’s advertised. The best part is when it rains while you drive. The view is absolutely clear on your windshield as these water droplets fly out without sticking to your windshield. The price is also reasonable. Will update the review after a year.

This is helpful for protecting a car’s exterior. You can feel the difference after it’s on and cured. You can wipe bugs and gunk off your car with just a damp rag. Feels like wiping down glass. Not too hard to put on. If you use anything except water to clean with, like alcohol-that takes the coating off, you’ll need to put a new coat on more often. Everything you need comes with the kit. It takes a few hours depending on your car size, but you can do it in sections to break it up. This costs $$$$ to have done commercially. I’ve got on all my cars now.

I’ve had two cars professionally ceramic coated. This is the first time I’ve tried applying this type of coating myself. It’s worth the time and cost savings but none of these coatings work like magic. Dirt won’t just rinse off with a hose.

As an experiment I treated half my hood with the product and the other half was left untreated but washed. After 3 weeks and a 600 mile road trip with rain, bugs and dirt I can report.
1. Bugs needed a bug removal spray. It definitely did not hose off even with a strong spray
2. Some dust came off but some did not with a hose.
3. AFTER hosing the car but before washing it, the treated side formed large water beads where as the untreated side did not bead very well.
4. After 15 more minutes of letting the water sit, the treated side still had a few beads but the untreated side left water stains and streaks.
5. After scrubbing and rinsing with water at home I took the car to a drive through car wash.
